Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PlanCanvas (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PlanCanvas is a visual content planning tool for creators. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Plans, trials, and billing

• The Free plan gives you core planning features at no cost.
• The Pro plan includes a free trial period. After the trial, Pro features require a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Polar, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Refunds

Because a free trial lets you evaluate Pro features before paying, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review your case in good faith. This does not affect any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer law.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create in the Service. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store and display your content so we can provide the Service to you. You are responsible for the content you upload and must have the rights to use it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, or use it to store or share unlawful content.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your content may be deleted.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
