Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PlanCanvas (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Eugenia Jongewaard. You can contact us at support@plancanvas.app.

2. The Service

PlanCanvas is a visual content planning tool for creators. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Plans, trials, and billing

• New accounts start with a free trial of the full Service. We do not ask for payment details to begin the trial, and it does not convert into a paid subscription on its own.
• When the trial ends, a paid subscription is required to keep creating and editing. You keep access to view the content you already created.
• The subscription is billed annually in advance through our payment processor, Polar, and renews automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Prices are shown before you confirm payment and include any applicable taxes as calculated at checkout.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Because the Service is digital content supplied immediately, you are asked at checkout to consent to that immediate supply and to acknowledge that doing so ends your right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

Beyond that, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, since the free trial lets you evaluate the Service in full before paying anything. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review your case in good faith. None of this limits any statutory right you have under applicable consumer law.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create in the Service. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store and display your content so we can provide the Service to you. You are responsible for the content you upload and must have the rights to use it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, or use it to store or share unlawful content.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your content may be deleted.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and disputes will be heard by its competent courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, nor of the right to bring proceedings there.
